The Midrash tells us that the Creator chose a pair for everything on earth, even the days of the week: Sunday was paired with Monday, Tuesday with Wednesday, and Thursday with Friday. And when Saturday complained to the Almighty that she was left alone, He said that her pair would be the Jewish people.
This is how it happened: on Saturday, a Jew fully enjoys life – praising the Almighty with prayers and songs, resting, and eating the most delicious food.
Today we also departed from the ordinary. In the morning we baked delicious challah, got ready, and at the appointed time we invited our older clients into the world of Shabbat to celebrate the arrival of the Queen of the Sabbath together, to greet her with blessings and songs. And even though we were separated by a screen (the meeting was online), we didn't feel any distance.
Having observed all the traditions of the celebration, we hope that we have received the blessings of the Almighty for the entire next week, until the new Shabbat.
