It's noisy and fun at the Hesed Besht Children's Charity Foundation, because today we were visited by schoolchildren from Khmelnytskyi NGO No. 5. We conducted an interesting tour of Hesed and talked about kindness, mercy, and tolerance.
We arranged a meeting with the writer Maria Demjanjuk, who presented her new coloring book "Aronchyk's piggy bank". The author of the book told interesting stories from her life, how she was inspired to create such wonderful fairy tales, which tell about the boy Aronchyk and the girl Hana, their adventures, good deeds and Jewish holidays. The children listened attentively and asked many questions. The writer read her children's poems about the war, which are very relevant and touched every heart. The children also entertained us all, and also told their own and not only poems. The writer presented her books to the most active participants of the meeting. In addition, in the context of a conversation about tolerance, we decided to check how our youngest understand this complex and incomprehensible word for them, it was striking that the children are really knowledgeable. After meeting with the writer, we watched interesting cartoons about tolerance and mercy, and all danced a Jewish dance together!
