Today, on the eve of the 106th anniversary of the bloody events of the Proskuriv pogrom, the city's Jewish community, representatives of the public and the media joined a commemorative rally near the memorial to the victims.
And although 106 years have passed since our common tragedy, and this is a significant period of time, we remember the executioners and innocent angels, murdered, killed with particular cruelty. By praying together for the souls of the deceased and their undisputed place in Gan Eden, we united the community around common values - mercy and life. 
Through the fire of memorial candles and the peace of laid stones – we remember every life that was meant to be lived and was interrupted by the deadly anger of xenophobia and anti-Semitism. After the events of February 15, 1919, 1,600 peaceful residents of Proskurov eternally watch over us, like the righteous from heaven.
Thank you to all those who remember history today and do not allow it to bring evil back to these lands!
