Summer is not only a time for vacations, but also an opportunity for children to immerse themselves in a world of new emotions, impressions, knowledge, and friendship. This is precisely the purpose of Keitana, a summer day camp for children organized by the Jewish community in Khmelnytskyi, Lutsk, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ternopil, and Rivne.
Word "keytaná" translated from Hebrew means "summer camp". This is not just a place to relax, but a space where learning, culture, spirituality and the joy of communication are combined. Keitana's program is thought out to the smallest detail. Every day is a rich program: each day has its own theme, value, content and location.

From an early age, we try to instill in children the main Jewish values: helping others, respecting traditions, responsibility, compassion, caring for the world, love of nature, etc. Such important topics are studied through interactive games, creative workshops, history classes, and Jewish holidays:
- Art workshops - creating your own drawings as a way of expressing emotions and working with your inner world, applique, embroidery;
- Culinary master classes - traditional challah, kugel, stuffed vegetables;
- Sports competitions are active games that teach teamwork;
- Shabbat in camp is a warm gathering with songs, blessings, and a special atmosphere;
- Movie screenings — studying history, culture, and traditions through masterpieces of world cinema.
Keitana is a safe and caring environment. Organizers and volunteers put their hearts and souls into every day to ensure that every child feels heard, valued, and accepted. For many participants, these days have become a source of faith in themselves and in the power of community.
Keitana is more than a camp that brings children together through fun and spending time together. It is an investment in the future of the community, in the development of children, their identity and connection to tradition. And these are unforgettable moments of happiness that stay with children for a long time.
