The Hesed Besht Youth Club of the Hesed Besht Youth Foundation is going through a period of lull. The hectic days of school graduations are already behind us, and for some, the External National Assessment. Now is the time to rest and gain strength for further fruitful work. While children are attending various camps or traveling with their parents on vacation, the Community Center is constantly running programs for those who have already returned or are just preparing for trips.
As of now, six teenagers have already visited various Jewish camps in different parts of the country. Two have already left, and three more are gathering with their parents for a family camp in the village of Mankivka, which will be held in the Aquadar complex with the support of the Joint Youth Organization and the forces of the Western and Central region madrikhs.
One of the most popular ways of summer development for the participants of the youth club remains the classes in "Hip-Hop", held at the "Thia" OC by volunteer Nastya. The girls continue to train flexibility, coordination and plasticity. The results are noticeable to everyone who watches the successes of our students. The timid, asynchronous movements that they had at the performance during the celebration of Purim have been replaced by well-developed and clear movements in the modern electronic direction of choreography. It is nice that the youngest visitors to the Child Development Center want to be guided by their older colleagues at the OC, who watch the training with delight.
She also encouraged the participants of the youth club at the ecological development festival “Greenfest”, which was held in the city on June 28. Visiting this event introduced teenagers to various trainings, master classes, competitions and dance groups. And afterwards, everyone “had a blast” at a rock concert. The “Thia” Community Center participated in the organization of “Greenfest”, where meetings of the organizing committee were held, events were planned, and separate master classes were held. Therefore, it is doubly pleasant that our youth are gradually integrating into the city-wide volunteer movement, developing spiritually and physically.
Until everyone returns from the camps, the club will operate in a moderate mode. Then, with renewed strength, we will begin large-scale preparations for the beloved autumn holiday - Rosh Hashanah and the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Hesed Besht Children's Charity Foundation.
