In the cozy premises of the "Thiya" Community Center, 10 people gathered to fight the FIDE Master, ex-champion of the Khmelnytskyi region and city, winner of international chess tournaments, and recently the President of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Federation "Strategy" Mikhail Gerasimenyuk.
Players of different ages and qualifications took part in the session. So, for example, the youngest participant, Ksyusha Lukyanova, is 8 years old, and the most respected participant, WWII veteran Elevich Zelman Abramovich, is 91 years old.
The game was uncompromising on all boards, no one wanted to concede to the famous master.
The first to submit his game was Vyacheslav Yulle, the curator of the "Hesed-Besht" CFB and one of the organizers of this event, who agreed to give a small comment and analyze his game:
"I would like to thank all the chess players. I also want to say thank you, Mikhail, for participating in our tournament. I hope that in the future there will be more people who wish to play. Regarding our game, I want to note that I am not upset by the defeat, this is a lesson for me. Next time, I will definitely take revenge."
Semyon Kapustin, candidate for the Master of Sports, winner of the regional competition, was close to a draw, but he was unlucky this evening. All games turned out to be tense, despite the stubborn struggle, Mikhail celebrated a convincing victory. None of the participants was lucky enough to win and draw. As the result is 10-0 in favor of the master.

I plan to hold a series of tournaments among the city's Jewish community. He will revive the match meetings among the Hesedovs of all Ukraine. The tournament ended on a high note, everyone was satisfied with the organization and expressed a desire to gather more often to play chess.
