The Community Center “Thia” of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” was created for the development and integration of culture, and every citizen who wishes can take part in this process. Cooperation with artists has become a good tradition, because the equipment of the Community Center allows for various exhibitions of paintings, photographs, handicrafts, demonstrations of photos or videos. In February, the craftswoman Olena Stepanovych visited the Community Center “Thia” with embroideries in both traditional and special effects. The presentation of the works was accompanied by the filming of a story for the KHODTRK “Podillia-Center”, which can be viewed at the end of the article. Olena's works fascinate with their skill and craftsmanship. In addition to the usual paintings or ornaments, there are rare things here, such as embroidered passport covers or bookmarks. The technique of embroidery on plastic media, for example, has no analogues in the city.

During the meeting, a pleasant surprise happened, proving the trivial fact that the world is too small. Olena met with Svetlana Mikhailovna Itkina, a client and volunteer of the Hesed Besht Foundation, who was at the Community Center at a meeting of the Intellectual Club. It turned out that both of them have a common homeland - the village of Chorny Ostriv. As it turned out, representatives of different generations had something to talk about, to remember fellow countrymen and acquaintances.

The Thiya Community Center is happy to invite all interested artists to joint events that benefit society. After all, culture and art are intangible things that increase beauty on Earth. And beauty, in turn, can save the World.
