The Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" actively cooperates with the National Holocaust Memorial "Yad Vashem" in Jerusalem in terms of collecting testimonies for the Hall of Names. During all this time, we collected and handed over several thousand letters. And although a lot of time has passed since the end of the war, not all information has been collected. We call on everyone who knows anything about the fate of the Holocaust victims to fill out their witness statement in the office of the Hesed Besht HBF!
Filling out a list of witness statements is not a difficult matter. You need to get an application form at the office of our organization at the address: Khmelnytskyi, str. Heroev Maidana, 10. Our employees will help you fill in all the fields quickly and in accordance with the rules. You can also take the questionnaire home if you want to do it in a relaxed atmosphere. If you do not live in Khmelnytskyi, you can get a questionnaire at any representative office of the Fund in Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil regions.
If you want to pass the questionnaire to another person, you can get as many forms as you need.
If you have preserved photographs of the victims, this is very important. The Hall of Names contains thousands of photographs, collected in the dome of the central room of the Memorial (as in the photo).
You can also tell the story of the Righteous Among the Nations - the man who saved the Jews from certain death. On the hills of Jerusalem, there is a park of olive trees, where, next to the trees planted in honor of the dead, there are olives planted in honor of the saviors.
Each new filled-in sheet is another step towards the fulfillment of the main function of the Yad Vashem Memorial - the establishment of all the names of those who died at the hands of the fascists and their accomplices. We are waiting for you and hope that with joint efforts we will succeed!
