Life is not always kind to man. In youth, when everything is fine and there is a wonderful family, a good job, many reliable friends, it seems that it will be like this forever. But old age comes with illnesses, sorrows, heavy losses and sad thoughts. How not to break here?
But man is stronger than iron. I was convinced of this when I met Tatyana Yakovlevna Mokrousova, a resident of Kamenets-Podilskyi. In her youth, she worked in responsible positions, was the head of the sales department of a large factory, and worked as the director of a bookstore. The son was proud of a loving mother, and the husband was proud of a clever wife who, despite all her busyness, remained the foundation of the family, a good, caring housewife.
Years passed by. Tatyana Yakovlevna was recently widowed. Diseases, which by the age of 80 had accumulated a full bouquet, are overcome. The heart beats, the kidneys, liver, pancreas fail, but the most terrible of diseases is diabetes, which dealt a crushing blow to the legs. First there were crutches, then a walker, and later the woman was left with no legs at all. When my husband was still alive, it was not so scary. But after his sudden death, Tatyana Yakovlevna fell into severe depression and even thought about the most terrible thing, they say, why such a life?
But the strong character did not fail here either. Based on sound reasoning, Tatyana Yakovlevna decided: since the Almighty gave her this test, she will endure everything! Since then, depression left her once and for all. The woman lives an interesting life. She reads a lot of books and newspapers, solves crosswords, watches interesting films and TV series, often communicates with friends on the phone.
Moreover, she helps her patrons who take care of her! How is this possible? At Tatyana Yakovlevna's request, a stool is placed next to the bed, an oilcloth is placed on it, and the hostess happily cleans vegetables, prepares fish for stuffing, etc.
T. Ya. Mokrousova has a wonderful family, a woman surrounded by care and attention. The director of the "Hesed Besht" charitable foundation I. A. Ratushny, the head of the Kamenets-Podilskyi representative office of "Hesed" M. A. Shopnyk, patrons do a lot for her. Tatiana Yakovlevna recently said that she hadn't entered her kitchen or the other room for a long time. Patronage Tanya took a picture of her apartment and showed her how everything looked. She also brought her half a bucket of snow from the street, when the woman complained that she had not seen snow for a long time. She was happy like a child.
- Friends don't get to know each other in a friendly conversation, they get to know each other through trouble. If the grief comes, if the tears are shed - the friend who will cry with you. You can't say more precisely, - says Tatyana Yakovlevna. - I am a disabled person of the first group, first one leg was amputated, then the other. But even in grief you need to have happiness. My Jewish happiness is that there is a native "Hesed". And what should I do without him? Igor Aleksandrovich Ratushny and Margarita Aronovna Shopnyk are my first saviors. Whenever the director of "Hesed" does not come to Kamenets, he always visits me. Understands needs and requirements, solves all problems without delay. I asked to install a gas meter for me - and it appeared as if by waving a magic wand. Well, where else will you find such a good person? No one helps people as much as Chesed. First of all, this is excellent patronage, and also money for cards, free hot dinners, medicine, diapers, grocery sets, clothes, blankets, utility bills, buying household appliances, repairs... Can you list everything? My own mother could not have done more for me than Chesed does. To our "Oh!" someone from "Hesed" is always nearby. And when we are in the hospital, they are always here with gifts. You are kind and humane, may G-d thank you and reward you a hundredfold for everything you do for us.
To this day, T. Mokrousova is remembered by colleagues at work, congratulated on her birthday, professional and state holidays. What does this mean? Of course, that she was not only a good worker, but also a soulful person. She is still kind and responsive.
Tatyana Yakovlevna's strength of spirit is enormous. We wish her a full and interesting life for many, many more years.
