Requiem rally
On January 27, our Jewish community, together with all progressive humanity in the world and together with representatives of the Spiritual Council of the city of Khmelnytskyi and the public, celebrated the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, established by the decision of the UN General Assembly on November 1, 2005.
A requiem rally was held at the Holocaust Memorial. The participants of the event recalled the terrible events of the war, honored the heroes of the Jewish nationality who fought and brought victory closer. There were many young people among the participants of the rally, and this is a good sign. Because the purpose of such events is not only to pay homage to the bright memory of those innocently tortured and killed on the fronts, but also to prevent similar tragedies in the future, when our youth will succeed us.
