Shabbat was celebrated
The participants of the "Masoret" project celebrated Shabbat together on November 29. The young members of the group learned with great interest from the older ones how to properly wash their hands, pronounce blessings on candles, challah, and wine. They memorized and sang the hymn of Tsaritsa-Sabbate "Lekha dody", sang together the song "Ose shalom", watched the funny video "Already Shabbat?", told stories.
We feasted on glory, as is customary for Jews on Shabbat. And then our guests Susanna Katz and Tuba Shteinman told how beautifully and solemnly their parents celebrated this day, how they prepared for it in advance. They saved all week, but on Shabbat they laid a generous and hearty table, invited Shabbat guests. Until now, the traditions of the celebration are strictly observed in their families.
They went home with a wonderful mood and a desire to meet again soon at the Sabbath table.
