In these difficult and troubled days, our Hesed is at the forefront of the fight. We are not fighting the disease - it is beyond our power, but with melancholy and depressive moods. And in addition to moral support, we deliver to our clients products for the celebration of Pesach, detergents and disinfectants, personal hygiene products, etc. The work in our Hesed never ends, because in order to purchase, bring, package, call, deliver to customers and hand them over - it takes a lot of effort and time from all employees.
Quarantine has changed our approaches to work, forced us to take more care of our own health and the health of our wards, deprived us of many joyful moments and the usual communication in the circle of good friends. But one thing has remained unchanged: we continue to maintain contact with our clients by phone and on social networks, continue to work for people, and instantly respond to their needs.
And how inspired and creatively our Hesed in Rivne works! Literally every hour, our tireless Iryna Gutnyk sends us photo and video reports about the work of the small team there. Well done, colleagues!
In these pictures you can see the working days of Hesed, as well as how our clients spend their free time meaningfully. Natalia Imenina teaches her granddaughter to play checkers and enjoys learning Hebrew. After all, after quarantine, she hopes to return to our Conversational Hebrew Club. Another telling photo from Kamianets-Podilskyi: Olena Kats sews masks and distributes them for free to those in need.
We ask all members of our community to share on social media and illustrate how you are spending your time during quarantine. Maybe someone will borrow your ideas and spend their forced leisure time with more benefit?
