Shabbat for a Jew is the greatest, most solemn holiday. For six days he must work in the sweat of his brow, and on the seventh he must fully enjoy the great gift of the Almighty - the Sabbath: celebrate at a richly laid table, praise the Lord in prayers and psalms, and give rest to body and soul.
Since we started holding Shabbat online, we have felt how much more fun it is to celebrate Shabbat together, in the company of good friends. On September 25, young people gathered in Hesed to meet the Queen of the Sabbath. We did not deviate from tradition: we celebrated Shabbat cheerfully, with a delicious meal, showing videos and songs. An interesting quiz about Jewish shrines also added zest to the celebration.
