During this difficult period of quarantine caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, on the eve of Hanukkah we implemented a new Hanukkah project "From Heart to Heart", which united Jewish communities from different cities of the Western region of Ukraine and brought them joy and lit a festive light in their hearts. The essence of the project was that clients, together with Hesed, prepared holiday sets and sent them as gifts for Hanukkah to wards of Jewish communities from different cities of Western Ukraine. A total of 280 people were involved in the project, of which 170 people were from the region served by the Hesed Besht Jewish Community Foundation (the cities of Khmelnytskyi, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ternopil, Rivne, Lutsk).
Unexpected gifts brought Hanukkah cheer and boundless joy to the homes of each project participant.
