Today, the participants of the “Warm House” gathering were engaged in relaxation using a modern, popular and very effective method of creating beauty with one’s own hands. This process was called “art therapy” (from the English “art” – art). The goal of this method is to counteract stress, relax, and calm down. And the main tool is art in any form that contributes to the goal. In “Teploy Dom” they chose quilling as such an activity – the skill of creating images from colored rolled strips of paper. It takes one craftswoman about one evening and a few cups of tea to create a suitable painting. In total, the participants of the “Warm House” took about three hours to complete two paintings. Psychologists say that the better the work goes, the more effectively art therapy fulfills its tasks. That is why there is no doubt that the program was compiled in the best possible way. The paintings will occupy a prominent place in the gallery of the “Thia” Community Center, or, on occasion, will find a new owner among the numerous guests of our organization as a gift.
