On October 24, in the city of Khmelnytskyi, the "Women's Health" program of the VJEO "Project Kesher" with the support of the BF "Women's Health and Family Planning" in partnership with the BF "Hesed Besht", the community center "Thiya" and the Volunteer Community held three socially significant events for young people aged 15-16 years as part of the UNESCO program for the preservation of adolescent health.

Training "Being healthy is important, being healthy is fashionable!" united more than 50 students of the college at the University of Social Technologies "Ukraine". Teenagers discussed the concepts of "reproductive function", "reproductive health", "family planning", "healthy lifestyle and its components", got acquainted with various medical specialties of doctors who are engaged in preserving the health of teenagers and young people. The head of the "Women's Health" program of the Kesher Project, Maryna Konstantinova, conducted the training in an interactive form, the teams discussed, presented creative presentations on the given topics. Irina Gerasimeniuk, head of the Khmelnytskyi regional branch of the VJEO "Project Kesher", and Vyacheslav Nagnybeda, the head of the community center "Thiya" and the Khmelnytskyi Volunteer Community branch, helped in conducting the training.

It is very important that among the participants of the training there were teenagers with disabilities (with limited hearing, vision), and together with their peers, with the help of sign language interpreters, they actively discussed questions, were involved in all stages of the training, received important information, and gave interesting answers. The principle of inclusive education, used in the formation of the contingent of this educational institution, allowed all students to gain knowledge on issues of reproductive health on an equal basis. Teenagers got acquainted with a useful Internet resource teenslive.info, prepared by UNESCO for young people, received handouts aimed at forming a responsible attitude to their health. The "Healthy Photo Studio" training has ended - this is a socially significant form of information promotion based on the "equal to equal" principle. Teenagers chose the most liked slogans of the Kesher Project about preserving health and took pictures with them to post on social networks and attract the attention of their peers to this topic.

Yaroslav, 16 years old: "I have always considered myself a rather erudite person in many matters, but by nature I am not inclined to discuss difficult points with others. During this training, I was able to look at myself and my peers "from a different angle", learned things that I had not thought about before, and realized how important it is to really weigh your actions, thinking about the consequences. From my mobile phone, I went to the resource that the host was talking about, and I saw how many interesting and useful opportunities there are for gaining new knowledge."

After the training, a group of the most active students took part in a social flash mob "University students for their peers in the city. Health is a common concern!" in the city square. He changed the "hat" of the listeners to the "hat" of a volunteer who promotes a healthy lifestyle and useful information about maintaining health, teenagers approached their peers, handed information materials, told about the phone of the All-Ukrainian information line on reproductive health issues, about the Internet resource for teenagers, gave balls and candies.

Tatyana, 15 years old: "I am preparing to become a journalist, after college I want to enter the university. For me, today's events are important for two reasons: firstly, I learned useful things for myself and my health, secondly, I tried myself in the role of a volunteer, I communicated with unfamiliar boys and girls and motivated them to take care of their health. At first, it was difficult for me to overcome myself and start a conversation with strangers. But seeing how other volunteers are doing it, I also joined and got useful social experience, which is important for my future profession!"

The following training "I want to know everything about my health" was held in the Khmelnytskyi Municipal Center "Thiya" with students of the 10th grade of secondary school #16. For schoolchildren, it was an important conversation about physiological and psychological maturation, about personal responsibility for preserving one's health. Schoolchildren took handouts for themselves and their peers from second classes. The class teacher thanked her for this important lesson and noted that from the reaction of her students, she understood that they were interested, they liked the form of presenting the material, and the questions raised did not leave anyone indifferent.
