“Nothing warms the soul on a hot summer day like a mug of cold beer!”, – says folk wisdom. On the eve of a wonderful date on the calendar – International Friends Day – the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” held an unprecedented campaign to lift the mood, overcome loneliness and simply have a good time for our clients. The event had an age restriction of 21+, since it was about a foamy, fragrant, cheerful and cool drink – beer!
Similar events have taken place at the Hesed Besht Children's Charity Foundation before, but a long time ago. The return to the "Beer Day" was prompted by both the fond memory of times spent over a glass of frothy drink and the hot weather that currently reigns around us.
The event organizer, public relations and crisis manager Lyudmila Shvartsman approached the event creatively and enthusiastically. The cultural program that accompanied the drinking was distinguished by jokes, interesting facts about beer and personalities who chose it as their favorite drink. Lyudmila Mendelivna also prepared an exhibition of various beer mugs and held quizzes and competitions with clients.
In tents decorated by the Foundation's employees in beer motifs, clients could spend time playing chess. For most of the people who gathered on this day for the holiday, this game is the most favorite. And in combination with beer - it simply does not get better. Friendly conversations were held at the tables, warmed not only by the sun and a pleasant meeting, but also by a bitter drink from a keg. Clients gladly brought dried and cured fish with them, and gladly treated each other to one another. And the rhythm of the event was added by rhythmic music of past years, related to the theme of beer and intimate relaxation with friends.
The extremely pleasant event left its visitors satisfied. It was a good opportunity to get together and relax from a hard day at work or a lonely retirement weekend. The organizers plan to hold another thematic day that will appeal to the female half of the customers and children - Ice Cream Day.
