Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” comes to the aid of clients in cases where there is almost nothing to do, since the well-being of our people is the main guideline of the organization’s activities. Sometimes charitable assistance is non-standard, sometimes labor-intensive, but absolutely necessary. This is exactly the situation that arose with the client of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” Halyna Lebedinskaya, to whose aid almost all the men of the Foundation were mobilized.
There is no need to talk about the difficult living conditions in which Ms. Halyna lives. Life has thrown her into a settlement remote from the city. The woman's dwelling is poor, devoid of the achievements of civilization and elementary means of comfort. But the biggest problem is the issue of energy sources: for most of the year Ms. Halyna is forced to use solid fuel, namely firewood, for heating or cooking!
Such a case may seem "wild" to readers, but life is quite unpredictable. Halyna Lebedinska's request to help her with firewood found understanding and support in our organization. In a short time, a supplier was found who agreed to provide customers with firewood and even a carrier who was to deliver the cargo to her apartment.
The only question left was: who would load the sawn firewood onto the dump truck? In fact, it was perhaps the most pressing, since the loading service cost almost as much as the firewood itself. The Fund did not have such funds, so they got out of the situation on their own. A brigade of men from the Hesed Besht KhBF found time and loaded the firewood for the client on their own, thereby saving money. And some of them got into better physical shape.
The good has found its addressee: now Ms. Halyna is provided with fuel for a long time. She is extremely grateful to the Hesed Besht Charity Foundation for its help. Understanding the importance of not only receiving but also giving good, she also does good deeds for the needs of the Foundation and the community: she participates in the artistic design of the literary and journalistic magazine Shtetl.
