On April 19, Her Majesty History reigned on the streets of Khmelnytskyi. To mark the opening of the tourist season in Podillia, this day was declared a general excursion day. The Department of Culture and Tourism of the Khmelnytskyi City Council formed 39 groups of 25-30 people each. These are mainly schoolchildren and students, employees of various institutions, organizations and enterprises of the city. Interesting excursion routes were developed for them.
It was a wonderful and, perhaps, unique opportunity to gain so much knowledge about the history, industrial-economic, spiritual and cultural development of Ploskyrov-Proskurov-Khmelnytskyi in different historical eras, to learn about the joyful and sad pages of the lives of the townspeople. And absolutely free of charge.
Our Hesed Besht Foundation also contributed to this educational activity by conducting two "Jewish Proskurov" excursions for city residents.
