Khmelnytskyi City

We love you, Yerushalayim!

Today, Jews around the world celebrate Jerusalem Day. This city, after its liberation and unification as a result of the Six-Day War, has become the largest in the Jewish state: every tenth Israeli is a resident of the capital.

Jerusalem is a source of inspiration and spiritual aspiration not only for the inhabitants of Israel and the Jewish population of the Diaspora, but also for the whole world as a whole. It is the cradle of three religions and attracts tourists and pilgrims from all corners of the Earth. They come to see the beauty of the ancient city, get fresh impressions of its legendary past, touch religious shrines and receive spiritual nourishment from this place of power. At the same time, the capital of Israel is not only ancient, but also a very modern, technological city.

On Jerusalem Day, a traditional march with national flags takes place in the city and a "human chain" is created, connecting the center of Jerusalem with the Western Wall. And the managers of the Hesed Besht Charitable Foundation took part in the Jerusalem Day flash mob, in which, with the help of the Zoom platform, Hesed workers from many CIS countries participated.
