Hanukkah! She always pleases, surprises, touches! Of course, quarantine limits our opportunities, because we cannot organize mass events. But we do what we can to make our customers feel the holiday.
Today we offer you to familiarize yourself with our work for one Hanukkah day (and we have as many as eight such days!). Employees of the Khmelnytskyi representative office congratulated the oldest member of the community, Abram Dykhtyar, on his 100th anniversary and Hanukkah, lit Hanukkah candles in his house, brought donuts for treats; We also gave out donuts to customers during the day and held a meeting on the platform Zoom under the "Let's connect" program with clients 67+ of the northern region; children from the city of Rovno made festive postcards to congratulate their grandparents and received gifts themselves; client Ludmila Glyazer from Ternopil received a set of threads for a future sweater as a gift, and Lina Ostrovskaya from Kamenets-Podilskyi received a painting. They dreamed about it, and in Hanukkah their dreams came true; the wards of the Lutsk community received such gorgeous donuts, and they offered the children to watch a wonderful children's performance of the shadow theater, as Rutty visited Grandma Basa (here is the link, if you are interested, take a look - https://youtu.be/KSBNLzleD64 ); we visited our clients at home, gave them Hanukkah lamps and lit candles with them, and in the evening community members gathered near large Hanukkahs in their cities and attended the lighting of another candle; etc., etc.
A big thank you to the Joint for giving us the opportunity to celebrate so vividly, to delight our wards with new surprises every day! Thanks to all the curators who try very hard and make the days of Hanukkah a real holiday!
