Hanukkah lights remind us of the past: of the war and victory of the Hashemenes, of the consecration of the rebuilt Temple, of the rekindled Menorah, and of the small amount of oil that miraculously lasted for eight days of burning. This is a miracle of miracles! This is the chapter of our history. We were always few, many tyrants tried to destroy us for our faith. It is bitter to admit that many of our brothers, for one reason or another, turned away from the Torah, trying to make life easier for themselves. It must be remembered that in the heart of every Jew there is a "drop of pure oil" and when it flares up, it ignites into a huge flame.
All eight days of the holiday, Hanukkah is lit in our representative office. We fully experienced the miracles of the holiday: Rabbi Mendl from the city of Chernivtsi, Deputy Mayor of Kamenets-Podolsky Vadim Savchuk came to visit us, congratulated us on Hanukkah and brought donuts as a gift from the city administration.
Hanukkah is a holiday of fun. "Jewish Karaoke", "Hanukkah Roulette", and "Quiz" were held for the participants of the holiday. Clients from the Danube region came to us for a holiday. Carrying out traditions, donuts, latkes, and wine are served on the tables.
The holiday continued in Novaya Ushitsa township. We light candles, tell about the history of the holiday, give out Hanukkah gifts, sing Jewish songs, guide and treat those who could not come due to their health with donuts.
On this wonderful holiday, no one was left without our attention.
