
The Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine announces the active phase of the National Competition "Charitable Ukraine - 2020". The competition is open and aimed at supporting projects, and is held annually.
The aim of the competition is support and development of effective socially-oriented philanthropy and volunteerism in Ukraine by publicly encouraging the best philanthropists and volunteers, their organizations and practices.
The objectives of the Competition are:: popularization of charity and volunteering, their organizations and effective practices; recognition of the best philanthropists and volunteers, their organizations and effective practices, other teams and organizations that implemented significant charitable projects and campaigns in Ukraine during the reporting year; informing society about the best practices of charity; popularization and encouragement of a wide range of citizens to charity and volunteering, relevance and social significance of projects.
The competition is open to philanthropists/volunteers who provided charitable assistance to address pressing social issues from January 1 to December 31, 2019; charitable projects (initiatives) whose implementation (in full or in part) was carried out during the specified period; public institutions that during this period carried out activities aimed at developing and supporting charity in Ukraine, beneficiaries, and media representatives.
Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted directly by benefactors themselves, recipients of charitable assistance, and any non-governmental organizations and individuals (except for state authorities, local governments, and political parties), regardless of citizenship, interested in the development and popularization of charitable initiatives.

The completed application must be sent by e-mail to: konkurs.blago@gmail.com to March 1, 2020 (inclusive)It is also advisable to add photos (no more than 5-10 pieces), links to information about the contest participant's charitable or volunteer activities posted on the Internet, publications, reviews, recommendations, etc. that better characterize the contest participant's activities.
This year, the Organizing Committee of the Competition has identified 24 competition nominations, according to which the selection will be made. When filling out the application, you must select one or more nominations under which the organization's activities or project fall:

Three laureates of the competition will be determined in each of the above nominations, and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will take place in the spring of 2020 in Kyiv. Information about the public awarding of the winners of the Competition and the presentation of the Competition awards will be provided by the organizers additionally, personally to each winner of the Competition. The winners of the Competition will also be notified by letter to the email address of the project coordinator, which was specified in the application, and announced on the official website of the Competition.: http://vboabu.org.ua/, http://blagoukraine.org/.
The award for the winner of the National Competition “Charitable Ukraine” is a unique amber statuette “Angel of Goodness.” The laureates who take second and third place are awarded special diplomas.

Submitted applications undergo technical examination for compliance with the competition requirements. After the examination, the applicant will receive a notification to the e-mail indicated in the application regarding admission to the competition and the serial number of the registered application.

Participation in the Competition automatically means familiarization and full agreement of the participants with these Regulations. The winners of the competition will be determined after the end of the acceptance of applications, namely from March 1, 2020. The composition of the governing bodies of the competition will be published on the competition website in November. The National Expert Council of the competition (evaluates applications) is formed from recognized experts and highly qualified specialists.
INFORMATION about the National Competition "Charitable Ukraine". National The "Charitable Ukraine" competition is an annual competition founded by the All-Ukrainian charitable organization "Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine" with the aim of developing effective socially-oriented philanthropy, patronage and volunteerism in Ukraine by publicly encouraging the best philanthropists, patrons and volunteers, their organizations and practices. The competition began its history in 2007, and in the "Charitable Ukraine" format it has been held since 2012.
