Preservation of cultural heritage
Preservation, restoration and support of architectural monuments, historical buildings and other cultural sites of historical or cultural value, monuments and cemeteries. The main idea of the project is to preserve these monuments for future generations, raising public awareness and promoting tourism.
Project geography: Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Rivne and Volyn regions.
Project directions:
- Preservation of cultural heritage: restoration, reconstruction, preventive maintenance, etc.
- Public engagement in the preservation of cultural values
- Promotion of cultural heritage sites
- Cleaning cemeteries, restoration of monuments, fences, etc.
The project was created to preserve cultural heritage by eliminating damage and degradation without significant changes in the structure or appearance of the objects; carrying out work to restore facades, roofs, interiors, as well as stabilizing and strengthening structures to ensure safety; cleaning the territories and cleaning objects of cultural value from dust and dirt.
Popularization of cultural heritage is an important stage of its preservation, as it helps to attract attention to the problem of preserving monuments. This may include the creation of cultural events, exhibitions, festivals that increase interest in cultural heritage objects. Popularization of monuments through social networks and educational events, distribution of photo and video materials with the involvement of tour guides and local historians.
The world is a narrow bridge, and the main thing is not to be afraid to move forward. But we must take our heritage with us, so as not to lose ourselves.
