And finally, the celebration has reached our city. Representatives of the Kesher Project, partners of the organization, and volunteers gathered at the Thiya Community Center, for whom this holiday has special significance. Participants of the women's movement from Ternopil, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Starokostyantyniv came here, and those who wanted to join from Polonny came. The importance of the event at the local level is evidenced by the statements of respected people who attended the round table at the beginning of the “Kesher Day”. The head physician of the Regional Oncology Dispensary Leonid Bryndikov emphasized that in combating cancer incidence, the first places are occupied by non-governmental public organizations, such as the “Kesher Project”. They are the ones who are able to reach a larger category of the population and correctly convey to people the importance of self-examinations. The head of the surgical department No. 1 of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Oncology Dispensary, Igor Drobner, emphasized that for him, cooperation with the “Kesher Project” is a matter of honor.
It was nice to hear from the Head of the Department "Position of Women in Society" of the "Kesher Project" Marina Konstantinova that the achievements of our region have an extremely large weight in the overall development of the organization. From here came such areas of work as field presentations of projects on the topic of "Women's Health" to remote settlements. The Khmelnytskyi youth branch of "Kesher Hadash" also made a great contribution to propaganda, creating social advertising that was recognized in six CIS countries.
The round table was intended to once again raise the topic of the importance of the activities of the women's organization, talk about innovations and, of course, to recognize those who have helped implement good deeds for the benefit of women for a quarter of a century. Marina Konstantinova and Tetyana Voytalyuk awarded certificates to women activists of the "Kesher Project" on the ground, noted volunteers and sincerely thanked the head of the Khmelnytskyi branch Iryna Gerasimenyuk. Special thanks were awarded to the director of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" Ihor Ratushny.
In turn, the host party honored the leaders of the organization with letters of appreciation. And from the Kamianets-Podilskyi branch, its leader Margarita Shopnyk presented the guests with special souvenirs - beaded trees created by activists of the Kamianets-Podilskyi women's group under the artistic direction of Olga Netiaga.
A quarter of a century is still a young age, according to the activists of the "Kesher Project". There are many tasks ahead that should be set and accomplished, a lot of work that should not be postponed for later. Therefore, we sincerely congratulate all participants of the movement on the anniversary of the organization, we wish you inspiration, health and prosperity!
