“Reaching every client” is the slogan that managers of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” always follow. Helping people here is undertaken only in a comprehensive manner: they identify all needs, find all problems, study all preferences, and only then begin to satisfy clients’ requests. In order to provide the best and most effective assistance, client meetings are convened here.
One of such meetings took place today. In the conference hall of the Community Center "Thia" gathered both clients and managers of the Fund - people who are responsible for the well-being and effective assistance to their wards. Understanding the importance of such events for people, the meeting is attended by the director of the Hesed Besht Charity Fund, Igor Ratushny.
The meeting was addressed by the manager of work with people in the field of nutrition, Anzhela Tarashchan, the manager of social rehabilitation, Alla Klopotyuk, the manager of social services, Raisa Gelman, the curator, Olena Torbina, and, in fact, the director, Igor Ratushny. Since the direction of assistance, as well as the work in the Foundation, is clearly divided between specific people, each speaker once again informed people about the features and volumes of assistance that can be provided by Hesed programs. People were also informed about changes in the criteria dictated by the main benefactor of the Joint NGO, methods of implementing assistance in various areas of life.
Each visitor could ask questions that concerned him personally. Since our Foundation pursues an extremely transparent charity policy, it is quite easy for our managers to answer clients' questions. Therefore, after the meeting, there was still time left, which was used wisely: clients watched video materials shot by the Foundation during the year from the work of various programs and centers. Since the meeting fell on the mourning days of the calendar, a video story on the topic "Memory of the Victims of the Catastrophe" was also watched.
"It is impossible and ineffective to provide indirect assistance," says Igor Ratushny, director of the Hesed Besht Charity Foundation. "If a person has health problems, helping them only with food or clothing will not yield much result. The task of our foundation is to comprehensively identify needs and problems, according to which we look for optimal ways to help each client."
