The "Warm Home" program, implemented by the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" with the assistance of the British Foundation World Jewish Relief, is designed to bring benefit and joy of communication to lonely and elderly people, for whom such an opportunity is almost a luxury. Usually people gather at the homes of the hostesses of the "Warm House", which is where the name of the project came from. But sometimes collective meetings are also held in various interesting places. Today, two groups of "warm house" residents met at the "Lviv Chocolate Workshop", where an exciting program was prepared for them.
The institution's master classes allow you to feel like a real confectioner. Our clients gathered on the third floor in the cozy atmosphere of a real chocolatier. The institution's employee, master chocolatier Victoria, told our people about the history of the chocolate workshop network, as well as about the products and ingredients used here. Then, each person present received a bar of white chocolate and a "melter" - a bag with liquid dark chocolate - for painting. This made it possible to create unique confectionery products with their own hands, the analogues of which are not found in store windows.
Here, our clients' imagination had a place to run wild. For example, Susanna Katz depicted a tree, the sun, and a girl on a white background: "This is my Tu-bi-Shvat, this is the sun, and this is my great-granddaughter," the woman explained her work with a smile. Susanna Abramovna also made her own adjustments to the creative process, reading wonderful poetic lines about a good mood and the beauty of nature to everyone present. Volodymyr Mirochnyk carefully wrote his daughter's name on the chocolate. Although she is already an adult, she will probably be very happy with such a touching gift from her dad. Roza Vilinchuk, in turn, painted a chocolate for her beloved son-in-law! And Iryna Kovshova created a composition with the inscription of the moves "E2-E4" for her beloved granddaughter, who is a professional chess player.
The clients of the second group, who came to the master class, had the opportunity, in addition to chocolate, to create a unique candy. This task was more laborious, but the clients also turned out to be persistent and creative. And this is not surprising, because most of them devote their “Warm House” gatherings to needlework. So, whether it’s quilling or beadwork, or confectionery painting – everything is within our clients’ power.
Satisfied with the results of their creativity, the clients of the "Warm Home" program were charged with positive emotions for the whole day. It is not often that we have the opportunity to spend time like this, which is why such meetings are appreciated by our people.
