Jews around the world welcomed the year 5783. With prayers and joy. And the Jews of Ukraine – also with prayers for peace and great hopes for happiness.
Today, our community also celebrated Rosh Hashanah. We did everything in our power to make the celebration interesting and fun. We told the participants of the feast about the traditions of the holiday, watched a video, took part in a quiz, congratulated each other, tasted, among other dishes, apples with honey and the famous Jewish dessert tzimes, listened to popular Jewish songs. And the holiday ended just wonderfully: we were greeted and blown the shofar by the rabbi of Khmelnytskyi and Khmelnytskyi region, Yosef Teitelbaum. It was not only an extremely pleasant surprise, but also a blessing for the new year.
