The other day, the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” hosted unusual guests. It was visited by children from the village of Pecheske, Krasylivskyi district – students of the Sunday school “Rodovid”, which works at the local temple of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. This event took place within the framework of the “Tolerance” program, which has been operating in “Hesed” for many years. The “Hesed Besht” Foundation sponsored this trip.
Orthodox children were very interested in learning about the work of the Social Assistance Center, which provides social and household services to the Jewish population and takes care of their cultural leisure (not only for the older generation, but also for young people and children), watched a short film about the work of the foundation, and talked about tolerance, which has been lacking in society lately.
Next, the group visited the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Church of St. George the Victorious in Khmelnytskyi.
The children were accompanied by Sunday school teacher Antonina Shevchuk, priest of the Pecheskivskyi Church Father Mykhail, and parents of individual students. Both children and adults were satisfied with the trip.
