He gave the Khmelnytskyi residents participating in the project “Let's Connect!” an unforgettable day. His accordion playing worked like a pill for boredom, depression, high blood pressure, heart pain and a number of other ailments. It would be inappropriate to put such different concepts as the enjoyment of music and a list of diseases in the same row, but our project participants are older people, for many of them this musical “pill” was very appropriate.
And the Hesed workers, with the first sounds of music, pulled up to the door of the hall in which we held an online meeting. The great power of virtuoso music! In these anxious, restless war days, each of us needs a bit of positivity.
Oleksiy Radetsky is a music teacher at the Khmelnytskyi Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy. A musician from God. He gave us many Jewish and Ukrainian songs, waltzes, and beautiful melodies that have become favorites for different generations. It's been a long time since we had such a pleasant and heartfelt lesson!
