The exhibition “Germans in Ukraine: History and Culture” continues its work at the Museum of Tolerance. Its exposition tells about the coexistence of people of German nationality on our territory, their contribution to the development of culture, industry, everyday life and other spheres of life. The exposition consists of mobile stands and printed booklets, which anyone can familiarize themselves with.
The exhibition was created by representatives of the German community. On the eve of Christmas (according to the Gregorian calendar), it was solemnly presented at the Museum of Tolerance, since the theme fully fits into the direction of the newly created museum. During the celebrations, a performance was held by children attending a German evening school. The little one delighted those present with her knowledge of winter songs in the language of her ancestors.
Every Khmelnytskyi resident and guest of our city can view the exhibition. Visiting the Museum is free for all categories of the population. After all, tolerance is one of the principles of modern European society, which the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” has been instilling since its foundation.
