We will sing and dance in carnival costumes, give out &quot;Aman&#039;s ears&quot; and pour our souls. The commandments of this holiday are easy and beautiful: read &quot;Megillat Esther&quot;, send each other gifts, eat sweets and drink wine. And one more, curious, commandment - &quot;get drunk so that you don&#039;t tell the difference&quot;, that is, get so drunk that you don&#039;t distinguish the cursed Haman from the blessed Mordecai.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An interesting idea, especially for Jews who are used to separating everything - kosher and trefnoe, meat and milk, Sabbath and weekdays - in memory of the main distinction that a person must make - between the righteous and the sinful - between what should be strived for and what should be avoided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, in Purim everything is the opposite - these concepts must be mixed. This custom is a hint of the state of final rectification that awaits us in the future, in which there will be no more dangers and threats, nothing will have to be hidden or hated. And it will become clear that both the righteous and the thieves were just actors in that fascinating game that the Creator started with the Jews, leading them and the whole world to this final state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the story of Purim, we meet one of the first anti-Semites - Haman, who dreamed &quot;under the root of lime&quot; of all Jews. For some reason, this does not surprise us, although no other nation has been treated like this. He will plunder, seize the land and enslave him - as many of these can be found in the history of nations, but to simply destroy everyone - this is something special.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Why didn&#039;t the Jews please Haman? Suppose he had something personal with Mordecai - he did not bow before Haman. But what is the fault of all the others? And here it is - they are different, these Jews, live differently, they do not respect our customs, and therefore they must be destroyed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anti-Semitism is not subject to reason at all, it is an irresistible call of the soul. He was born at the same time as the Jews, as thesis and antithesis. Albert Einstein called it &quot;the shadow of the Jewish people&quot;, and if it is impossible to imagine a world without Jews, then it is also impossible without anti-Semitism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Without the Jews, peace is impossible because, in the words of Maxim Gorky, they are &quot;the old strong yeast of humanity, always raising its spirit, bringing restless, noble thoughts into the world, arousing the desire for the best in people.&quot; And it is impossible without anti-Semitism because we don&#039;t want to be Jews. We want to live like everyone else, and we hide from our choice in business, in science, in art or in religion. We would have dissolved into other peoples a long time ago if they had not oppressed us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zionism, which raised the state of Israel, was born as a result of the outbreak of anti-Semitism in France, after the famous Dreyfus affair. It was then that Theodor Herzl abandoned the idea of assimilation of Jews, which he had adhered to until then, and wrote his program work &quot;The Jewish State. The experience of a modern solution to the Jewish question&quot;. Soon after that, the First Zionist Congress was organized.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Few people know that the Nazis at the beginning of their rule in Germany did not intend to exterminate the Jews. The Reich authorities reduced the tax on the export of goods to Palestine, reduced the tax on the sale of real estate for Jews moving there, and allowed them to export all their property (unlike the pharaoh, who did not allow any of this). Moreover, they created a network of agricultural and craft schools in which Jews could acquire the skills necessary for life in Palestine. 100 million Reichsmarks were allocated for the accommodation of the departing Jews.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Very few German Jews took advantage of this opportunity and went to the Holy Land. The majority did not want to leave the crowded places, parting with their shops, factories, and banks. It was the same in Poland. When Yehuda Ashlag - a rabbi, judge and teacher at the rabbinical court of Warsaw - gathered 300 families in 1938 to go with them to Palestine, the rabbinate forbade repatriation, ignored all of Rabbi Ashlag&#039;s arguments about the danger hanging over the Jews. How it ended is known.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, Jews from all over the world have gathered in Israel - but what makes this country different from others? We are trying to build ourselves the same life as others, according to the capitalist or socialist model, and we step on the same rake as everyone else. The same corruption and lobbying, the same disregard for everyone, the same indifference of the state to people. We ourselves are weakening ourselves, and modern anti-Semitism - hatred of the state of Israel - is awakening in the peoples to correct us on our historical path.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jews are not created just to make a living or make big deals, eat Saturday chicken and rest abroad. They rot in the atmosphere of the bourgeoisie, which is alien to the true Jewish spirit. What is given to us by nature - the Jewish mind, talent, humor (as the ability to joke with oneself), a special subtlety of feelings - is intended for a higher application than the achievement of a full, safe life for oneself and pride in front of others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Jews derived, long ago, two rules, two great principles, on which both law and morality are built today. The first one, on which the entire legal system is based, is Hillel&#039;s answer to a non-believer when he asked him to explain the essence of Jewish teaching: &quot;What is hateful to you, do not do to another - this is the whole Torah...&quot;. And the second, the cornerstone of universal morality, is the basic principle of the entire Torah, according to the version of the slave Akiva: &quot;Love your neighbor as yourself.&quot;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The whole modern world seems to have adopted these rules and written them on their banners, but they cannot fulfill them regularly and in relation to everyone, and not only to their relatives and friends. And that&#039;s why all the wars and terror, and the crisis, and the collapse of the traditional family, and... I don&#039;t want to list further. But the Jews who nurtured these principles are also capable of putting them into practice. This, apparently, is the meaning of the existence of the Jews and the justification of their difficult history, and this, without realizing it, the whole world is waiting for them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today we have our own state, and in it we can establish such good relations among ourselves that all anti-Semites, envy and admiration, will automatically become Judophiles. And this is what I wish to all of us on the eve of the upcoming holiday. By the way, in the future, according to the predictions of the Jewish sages, all other holidays will be canceled, and only Purim will remain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong><em>Author:
