Every day, some kind of Hanukkah event takes place in our Hesed: we not only rejoice in this wonderful holiday, but also fulfill the commandment to glorify the miracle of Hanukkah as much as possible.
On Tuesday, December 24, our clients gathered at the Social Assistance Center for a festive concert. They remembered the history of the holiday, listened to beautiful Jewish songs (and actively sang along!), warmly applauded the host Natalia Gerasimenko, singers Kira Nanba and Anatoly Muzyka, dancers of the volunteer group "Golden Years" under the direction of Arkady Voloshin, and the manager of the "Hesed Besht" fund, Yana Baranova, who held a lottery among the anniversary people of the year, and were treated to traditional Hanukkah donuts. In short, they had a great and fun time in the company of acquaintances and friends.
Such meetings not only lift your spirits and broaden your horizons of knowledge, they bring people closer together, allow you to establish contacts between people, save you from loneliness, and ultimately, prolong your life.
