“Children are our bright future.” This postulate does not require explanations or justifications, but active activity will never be lacking for this. That is why initiatives for educational work in the direction of supporting the health of children and their parents are so necessary for our society. Thanks to cooperation with the NGO “Svitanok”, a meeting was held at the Community Center “Thiya” with a pediatrician, a volunteer of the Hesed Besht Children’s Charity Foundation Rimma Shamisova. The meeting consisted of both a speech by a specialist and informal communication between parents.
NGO “Svitanok” cares about the health of mothers and their children by organizing educational and social events. According to the head of NGO “Svitanok” Olena Golyak, these should be periodic meetings with doctors of various specialties and the involvement of a larger number of caring parents. Therefore, we hope that after the first successful event, such meetings at the “Thia” Health Center will become regular, and their benefits will be measured by the number of happy children's smiles. Rimma Mykhailivna paid attention to the problems of acute respiratory diseases in children, the treatment and prevention of dangerous manifestations of ARI, which have increased significantly this year. Answering parents' questions, they touched on a fairly wide range of knowledge and practical advice: from the use of multivitamins to observing the healing of “fountain” in babies. The children themselves, while their parents were busy, spent time in the art studio coloring and playing games. The tea party and informal conversation also brought a lot of useful things.
