“Open Door Days” of the Community Center “Thia” for teams of partner organizations are traditional events that are held to increase experience and deepen friendly ties with colleagues. This helps to better understand our work, to jointly plan further steps in our activities. This time, we were visited by teams of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Scientific Library named after M. Ostrovsky and the Khmelnytskyi Regional Library for Youth.
The Hesed Besht Children's Charity Foundation has concluded a Social Partnership Agreement with both institutions, which provides broader grounds for cooperation and project implementation. Last year, cooperation took place regularly: employees of the Thiya Community Center repeatedly visited each library with exhibitions, lectures and presentations. In turn, the libraries came to the Museum Programs of the Community Center with groups of children and students. Today, the meeting took place without third parties - only the teams of the organizations and the especially touching program “Fathers and Children”, prepared by Halyna Atamanchuk and Anatoly Muzyka. This event is designed to touch the deep strings of the soul associated with the succession of generations, to remember parents, to think about descendants. Based on the deep family traditions of the Jewish family, the program “Fathers and Children” cannot leave anyone indifferent, because we are all someone's children. In an hour, you cannot comprehend the full complexity of this issue, but you can think about the fundamental and important and, of course, draw on the experience and wisdom of the Jewish source of family relationships.
No one remained unmoved after the strings of the ensemble leader's guitar fell silent and the presentation screen went out. The guests were told about the work of the Community Center and shown museum exhibits. Some had been here before, for some today's visit was a pleasant surprise. But everyone, without exception, became closer to each other, which will definitely be reflected in further cooperation.
