The “CACHEER Project Days” are approaching.

Керівник Хмельницького осередку "Проекту Кешер" Ірина Герасименюк
Head of the Khmelnytskyi branch of the “Kesher Project” Iryna Gerasymenyuk

The name "Project Kesher" is known to many people. And if for some it is simply the name of an organization that is often "on the radar" due to a large number of social or cultural initiatives, then for others this name is synonymous with the concept of "health". After all, thanks to the activities of the organization, many women were able to diagnose their tumors in time, which saved not only their breasts, but also their lives.

Time is ticking away, and now the Kesher Project is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary. The organization has been operating in the Khmelnytskyi region since 2000, constantly in close partnership with the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht". The permanent head of the Kesher Project is Iryna Gerasimenyuk, who holds the position of secretary-referent to the organization's director, Igor Ratushny, in the foundation. But what does Kesher represent now?

The organization "Project Kesher" is a global non-governmental public organization that deals with various issues of women's problems: health care, technical and economic literacy, combating violence in the family and in society. In the Khmelnytskyi region and the city in particular, "Project Kesher" is represented by a number of centers and teams of activists from Women's Groups who carry out the organization's missions. In a number of cities, such as Khmelnytskyi, Starokostyantyniv, Kamianets-Podilskyi, there are computer classes that increase the technical literacy of women.

But most actively in recent years, the organization has been working on the implementation of the project "Women's Health. Prevention of Breast and Cervical Cancer." More than a thousand women of different age groups from the Khmelnytskyi region have already become participants in this project, who have had the opportunity to learn how to self-examine their breasts or be examined by oncologists who are volunteers of the project.

An active group of the "Kesher Project" has also become the community of young and creative participants of the youth movement "Kesher Hadash".

On February 12, a presentation of the work of the “Kesher Project” to the general public and a report on the organization’s activities for the entire period of its operation will be held. The event will be attended by the heads of the organization in the CIS countries Konstantinova M. and Voytalyuk T., the head of the branch in Khmelnytskyi region Gerasimenyuk I., and the director of the Hesed Besht Charitable Foundation I. Ratushny. Read about the course of the celebrations and the seminar in the following report!
