Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" is rightfully proud of its leading position among social organizations of the city and region. This is evidenced by the high assessment of our Foundation by both representatives of local authorities and colleagues in social and non-social activity. On March 3, the doors of the Community Center "Thiya" were kindly opened to a delegation of heads of social departments of the Kharkiv region, who visited our city on a working visit and visited us together with the head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Khmelnytskyi City Council, Slovian Ilkovich Voronetsky.
Sharing experience for our employees is always a pleasant thing, because working together for the well-being of people, we all multiply the good in the world. And this is the main humanitarian mission of the Hesed Besht Charity Foundation. Therefore, using the example of working with our clients and the methodological base provided by our main benefactor - the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee - we are happy to show how we can comprehensively help those in need. Representatives of other public organizations of the city, who make their overwhelming contribution to the development of the social sphere, were also invited to the meeting at the Thiya Community Center, because there is always close cooperation and exchange of experience between all participants in this process.
Guests from Kharkiv region praised the work on site and did not hide their pleasant impression from the tour of the Community Center. The building, which at first glance seems small, actually plays an important social, cultural, educational and upbringing role in the life of the Jewish community and in fostering tolerance among different communities in the region.
We hope that in the future our social workers will also have the opportunity to visit colleagues in other parts of the country as part of the state experience exchange program. After all, knowledge is the driving force behind actions that can improve the lives of all who need help.
