Following the results of the charity concert of the Musical Retro Collective “HesedbenD”, which took place on March 31 in the premises of the Khmelnytsky Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater named after M. Starytsky, 3,000 UAH of charity was collected. On April 5, a ceremonial presentation of charitable funds to Lyubov Opanasyuk, the landlady of a family of displaced persons from the ATO zone, took place at the “Thia” Community Center. In the presence of the Chief Specialist of the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Tourism of the Regional State Administration of Ukraine Olena Zapadenko and the representative of the Hesed Besht Charity Foundation Alla Klopotyuk, the leader of the HesedbenD band Anatoliy Muzyka transferred the specified amount to the family, which is still forced to suffer from the events in the turbulent East of the country. The head of the family Oleksandr Opanasyuk is currently recovering from a wound at the front, serving another rotation in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The event coincided with the charity marathon “Week of Good Deeds”, which supports the Hesed Besht Charity Foundation and the center of the “Community” volunteer network.
