According to the good tradition of the Kamianets-Podilskyi representative office “Hesed Besht”, children spend their holidays in a charitable foundation. Usually, a theme is chosen for a children's camp. This time the theme was “Studying the history and beauties of our native city”. During the five days of the camp, members of the children's club “Ptytsa Zis”, combining study and recreation, got acquainted with the history of the city: a game-quest was held in the Old Fortress “Looking for the key to the fortress”. After a tour of the art gallery, the children became participants in a master class on making ZD postcards. The last day of the camp (Friday) was dedicated to studying the history of the Jewish community of Kamianets-Podilskyi. The children baked challah, spent Shabbat, told Hasidic stories. They visited and treated community members who, due to health reasons, cannot come to us on Shabbat with challah. Laughter, joy, and friendship reigned throughout the camp's days.
