The Shabbat we held on October 16 at our Social Protection Center was especially cozy and pleasant. Lively communication, cheerful music and songs, delicious food, parables, Shabbat stories - all this added a good mood and warmth to our event. Probably, each of us felt very keenly how people miss such heartfelt gatherings.
We welcomed the Queen of the Sabbath solemnly, observing all the rules of Shabbat and, of course, observing sanitary and hygienic requirements. We had a wonderful time, and at the same time taught the younger Hesed clients how to make Shabbat kosher and fun. We hope that the knowledge will be useful to them, they will carry it with them to their families, so that the wonderful tradition of celebrating Shabbat, turning it into an island of rest, a day "for the glory of the Most High" will never be interrupted.
