Jewish courtyard
Nowadays, it is already a tourist attraction. But nothing conveys the spirit of old Proskurov as accurately as stucco-decorated houses with flying plaster, as cobwebs of clotheslines with ancient gray clothespins, as paths in the grass of different curvatures, ladders and shaky steps of different heights! It's so sweet, so nostalgically touching!
And you can already imagine how Rosa looked out of the window and shouted to Bass: "Come out into the yard, you will try my stuffed neck. This is something special!" Here, on a wooden wooden table in the middle of the courtyard, Roza solemnly places a dish with a neck, Tsilya - forshmak, Basya - fluden, and Pesya - a saucer with only boiled jam. And a unique aroma floats in the air, and eternally hungry yard cats blow their nostrils... And then the men pull up, a leisurely conversation begins.
Gone... Gone is this unique color along with its inhabitants. Wrought iron gates have disappeared, stucco and other rich decorations are flying away, houses have become dilapidated (what survived), chimneys have disappeared, asphalt has cracked... The new inevitably replaces the old. The garden is growing and beautiful!
