Guests from Poland
Józef Markevich and Jagna Kofta from Poland have been visiting us for several days. Józef is an employee of the Warsaw Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Jagna is a representative of the Warsaw Jewish community. Together, they are doing a lot of work to preserve the Jewish heritage. Their professional interest brought them to us.
Guests from Poland visited the Hesed Besht Holocaust Museum, viewed the old buildings of the historical part of Khmelnytskyi, built by wealthy Jews in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They plan to visit the synagogue, take a few interviews with people with interesting lives to replenish their museum.
This visit marked the beginning of our cooperation. Soon Józef and Yagna are planning a longer visit.
