Every year on February 4th, World Cancer Day is celebrated. Cancer is a general term for more than 100 diseases that can affect any part of the body. Up to 40% of all cancer cases are preventable. Many types of cancer have a high chance of being cured if detected early and treated properly.
As part of breast cancer prevention, the Hesed Besht Children's Charity Foundation held a health day for IDPs and community members. Drobner Igor Garriyovych, a first-category mammologist, was invited. During the meeting with the participants, the doctor provided comprehensive information on the importance of having an annual breast examination and what preventive work should be carried out to prevent the development of pathological changes. Each participant also had the opportunity to receive professional advice from a mammologist.
