Today, Jews around the world celebrate the holiday of Tu B'Shvat - "New Year of Trees" in a simple sense. In addition to a number of events that took place today for clients of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht", another extraordinary event happened. The Jewish recipes club "Beteavon" was most happy about it, since they had been waiting for this event for a long time. And the following happened:The seedlings of ornamental cabbage, which the club members planted in pots on the windowsills of the social dining room of the Social Assistance Center a long time ago, have bloomed. The peculiarity is that this variety of cabbage is very capricious: it is affected by temperature, humidity, the amount of sunlight, and much more. But we suspect that the amount of love invested in the process of planting seeds also plays a significant role.

And the “Beteavon” club definitely does not lack this feeling for its work! Thanks to the careful efforts of our people, the cabbage not only took root and began to grow, but also bloomed. It is symbolic that this happened on Tu B'Shevat, when trees, bushes and other plants are considered the most important. Now it is necessary to wait until the seeds ripen, which in the spring will be planted in the numerous flower beds of the Social Assistance Center and distributed to all who wish. Thus, the love of our people for good deeds will multiply and spread among other people.
