A hot summer day, afternoon, bright sun and a light breeze. What does the soul of an adult or a child desire most at such a time? Of course – the favorite sweet and cool product of almost all people without exception – ice cream! For clients of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” on June 26, a wonderful holiday was organized on the last weekday. It was simply called “Ice Cream Day”, and everyone who wanted to try something delicious was invited. The holiday was made possible thanks to the charitable assistance of the flagship of the ice cream industry in the country – the Zhytomyr trademark “Rud”.
On behalf of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" and its clients, we express our sincere gratitude to the management of the Rud trademark for the ice cream provided, and with it - joy to all participants of the event. After all, charity in any form always multiplies goodness. The wonderful mood that appeared in adults and children on a hot day from consuming a sweet and cold product certainly stimulated them to do something good for their neighbor. And this is the cycle of goodness in the world. Therefore, the assistance of TM "Rud" in holding Ice Cream Day is a noble good deed.
Ice Cream Day gathered participants in the courtyard of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht". Some people sat at tables in the shade of trees, others in tents specially set up for protection from the sun. The program, compiled by the organization's employees, included quizzes, informative stories about the history of the origin and consumption of ice cream, and competitions for adults and children. It was nice to see several generations gathering at one table and all enjoying the delicious food together. The most active in the entertainment program were given memorable souvenirs so that this day would be remembered for as long as possible.
Interesting facts about ice cream, as it turns out, are also found in the Torah! One of the verses about Solomon tells how frozen juice of various fruits was consumed at the palace - the prototype of modern ice cream. This and much more was learned by the clients during the speeches of the Foundation's employees, which made the holiday not only pleasant, but also informative.
