The Social Assistance Center kindly opened its doors to the first collective groups of visitors! They were representatives of various public organizations within the framework of providing social rehabilitation services to the population of the city of Khmelnytskyi on behalf of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Khmelnytskyi City Council. This practice has been implemented by the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” for a long time and is in great demand both among customers and among participants. This time, the participants of the “Winter Patterns” program were about eighty representatives of public organizations, including the Ukrainian Society of the Visually Impaired (UTOS), the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf (UTOG), an organization of internally displaced persons from the ATO zone, representatives of the organization of victims of the Chernobyl accident, and others.
The rehabilitation program involves psychological relief in a friendly circle, cultural enrichment in the museums of the Social Rehabilitation Center. These include the Museum of Tolerance and the Museum of Charity, the preliminary version of the exposition of which is already available for viewing. People find it extremely pleasant to meet together, have conversations over a cup of fragrant tea and snacks. A good mood and a flow of useful information are provided by our managers and volunteers, such as performer Kira Nanba.
Joint efforts of the authorities and non-governmental organizations always benefit people. “Winter Patterns” is a vivid confirmation of this. Therefore, we thank you for your understanding and support and hope for an increase in the number and variety of social orders for the Social Assistance Center.
