Today was surprisingly warm, sunny and beautiful weather – as if specially ordered for the holiday of Passover. Our Hesed is bustling with work: managers and volunteers from all regional offices of the foundation prepared traditional Passover plates, grape juice, greeting cards made by children, and made a number of visits to the clients of the Day Center in order to congratulate them on the holiday and remind them before the Seder how to properly celebrate it.
The same task faced the patronage workers today: to solemnly congratulate their charges, deliver kear to each one, and rehearse (if I may say so) the Passover Seder. And they cleaned their homes and cleansed them of hamtz, as tradition dictates, a few days before the holiday.
Making the holiday a pleasant and important mission for our clients, and Hesed employees approached its implementation with all responsibility. We believe that in all Jewish homes, despite the tense situation in the country, the holiday will be beautiful and solemn!
