Representatives of various nationalities and public associations gathered at the “Thia” Community Center for the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation. The issue of nationality itself was largely resolved during the occupation of the territory by the fascists - Jews and Gypsies, for example, were persecuted and exterminated solely on ethnic grounds. However, there was no such thing as a front of nationalities: all people rose up to fight against the occupier in order to defend the Motherland.
