Social order is a special form of cooperation between state authorities and social services with non-governmental organizations. This practice is widely used abroad, but in Ukraine it has been used relatively recently. The purpose of the orders is to provide high-quality rehabilitation services, care for sick or elderly people by non-governmental structures, while relieving the social services of state subordination. Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” was in the cohort of the first organizations that were the first to respond to social orders and began working for the benefit of all citizens of the Khmelnytskyi region. As a result: this year another project implemented by our Foundation is coming to an end.
The provision of social rehabilitation services "Day Center" has become the calling card of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" among other social organizations. And this is natural, because the foundation has been operating the "Health School" rehabilitation center in the village of Pecheski, Khmelnytskyi district since 2007. This is a specialized, cozy and well-equipped place for people with special needs, staying in which strengthens not only physically, but also contributes to moral relief. The center is available to all categories of citizens who need appropriate assistance, and the qualified employees of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" are well versed in the care and rehabilitation of its visitors.
The social order "Day Center" is carried out by the Department of Social Protection of the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration. Fifty residents of the Khmelnytsky district and the city of Khmelnytsky became participants in this project. These are mainly elderly people who need special attention due to their health, have a limited circle of friends, and age-related diseases. For this category of the population, the need for sufficient communication and moral support is as important as physical rehabilitation itself.
For groups of participants of the "Day Center" project, specialists from various fields worked at the "School of Health" to ensure a comfortable and useful stay for people in the institution. Musical receptions, lectures, presentations related to the issue of healthy and nutritious nutrition, and creative master classes were held here.
For those project participants who were unable to visit the Rehabilitation Center "School of Health", the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" organized field events in settlements. According to the project participants themselves, the events had a significant effect and benefit for them. And this is the main measure of the success of joint work of state and non-state social institutions.
