Rehabilitation and Regional Development Center
The Rehabilitation and Regional Development Center was created to provide home care to people who need assistance with daily activities, provide physical, social, and moral support that allows clients to lead a more independent lifestyle in their home and within the community, promote their social rehabilitation and revival of Jewish spirituality, and ensure constant two-way contact with the community population.
The Center for Rehabilitation and Regional Development works in four areas:
- "Home care"
- “Memory preservation”
- "Regional Program"
- "Internally displaced persons"

“Home Care” – meeting the basic needs of the elderly, helping them with everyday household chores. The “Memory Preservation” program operates within the framework of the “Home Care” program. This is the provision of assistance to the Foundation’s wards with dementia.
The “Regional Program” serves over 4,000 people living in 96 settlements in Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Rivne, and Volyn regions.
“Internally Displaced Persons” – a program in which IDPs receive assistance in paying for accommodation, assistance with purchasing food, medicines, hygiene products, household chemicals, clothing, shoes, bed linen, etc. An important part of supporting IDPs is psychological support from qualified specialists, psychologists of the “Or Shalom” Trauma Center.
